FAQ

When will we begin offering Omni?

As of 11/19/2024, we have 45 units, but expect to have 275 units by the end of February 2025.

Can I transfer the Omni pumps if someone needs a feeding pump?

Omni can only be transferred to locations that have transitioned from EPump to Omni. However, this should not be necessary, as we are increasing available inventory throughout the transition.

Are we going to receive training?

Yes, you will receive training and have access to Cardinal’s training and instructional video.

Training will be required and will be offered just before your warehouse receives the Omni pumps. We aim to provide training as close to the transition as possible to ensure the “button-ology” remains fresh.

What kind of soft goods are offered with Omni pumps?

The available soft goods include:

  • Flush Bag Kit – 1000mL
  • Feeding Bag – 1000mL
  • Spike Kit
  • ENFit Transition with Cap

We will provide part numbers for each item as we transition your locations.

Omni functions similarly to EPump; therefore, the soft goods are similar but custom-fitted to Omni.

EPump supplies cannot be used with Omni pumps.

Do I need to order soft goods for Omni now?

No, you will not need to order your initial supply of Omni soft goods. Supplies will be ordered for warehouses as we transition. After that, Branch Managers will be responsible for ordering supplies as Omni inventory is consumed.

Is the customer aware of our transition?

Some customers have specifically requested Omni, while others are particularly interested in the flush feature unique to Cardinal’s line of feeding pumps. With that in mind, we will provide in-service training to our customers on how to use Omni as we transition through all warehouses and markets.

Given the high demand for new Omni units and a current lead time of approximately six weeks—especially as we enter the holiday season—we need to carefully manage supply. Our transition plan will help control customer demand, aligning with Cardinal’s ability to deliver within the provided lead time.

Can we still get EPump soft goods during the transition?

MVHS remains to have access to limited supply for all EPump soft goods.

What will MVHS do with the EPumps?

Long term, there is a buyback through Cardinal. We’ll move these to Aledo when we get all new Omni units distributed. Then we’ll sell them to Cardinal!

Short term, We will move EPump from locations that transition to higher volume locations, along with the soft goods. Intent is to use up all soft good inventory.

What will MVHS do with the COMPAT feeding pumps and supplies?

Compat will eventually be removed from inventory as the demand for the specific unit is not favorable. We will dispose of the Compat as your warehouses transition to Omni.
